Tripartite Arrangement - Communiqués

Following the loss of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 on Day:01 the Governments of Malaysia, Australia and the People's Republic of China agreed to collaborate in relation to both the search strategy and funding - this became known as the Tripartite arrangement.

Senior Ministers from Malaysia, Australia and China met at least five times between May 2014 and January 2017.

Following each Tripartite Meeting the participants released a Communiqué which became a public record and summary of the Tripartite discussions and decisions.

In Australia the Communiqué content was published on a Joint Agency Coordination Centre (JACC) website.

In Malaysia the Communiqués were published on a Ministry of Transport website.

Only one Communiqué (17 January 2017) is available in Mandarin.
